Job Description

Basic Requirement:

  • Qualification

1) Fluent in English and Japanese;

  • Special knowledge

1) Basic understanding on Chinese legal / accounting / tax systems with regard to foreign investment

2) Basic knowledge of corporate finance.

  • Other Requirement

1) Team playing ability;

2) Logical thinking;

3) MS PowerPoint / Excel / Word skills

The responsibilities:

Write Newsletters to Customers (Priority #1)

  • Collect and analyze new regulations and useful information for customers
  • Prepare Newsletters (in Chinese)
  • Follow up response from BP’s and customers.

Prepare Presentation materials (Priority #1)

  • Identify clients’ needs and problems to be solved in response to customer’s inquiry
  • Prepare presentation materials for Japanese and Non-Japanese customers (in Chinese and English)

Team Building (Priority #1)

  • Assist senior/ junior team members to improve quality of advisory/ analysis/ consulting/ presentation job of the team.
  • Share useful information among \ the team.

Internal Reporting (Priority #2)

  • Evaluation of projects, call reports, financial analysis, etc.

Translation (Priority #2)

  • Translate local regulations/ notices/ other materials into Japanese accurately in a timely manner.

Presentation (Priority # 2)

  • Structure best solutions to client and make efficient presentation.
  • Further understand clients’ needs and requirements.

Arrange Seminars (Priority # 2)

  • Plan and arrange effective seminars to customers to improve SMBC’s brand image

Alliance with external organizations (Priority # 2)

  • Develop and organize alliance with external organizations
  • Plan and develop new business models
