Bentley Systems, Incorporated's Walnut Creek, CA office has an opening for a Consultant, Construction Operations, with the following duties: Provide in-person and remote software demonstrations and webinar training to customers on SYNCHRO (a 4D virtual reality product that monitors and improves construction process); Unify 3D construction models and schedules from clients to create a 4D animation of the life-cycle of the project;  Plan, schedule, and coordinate construction project activities to meet deadlines; Evaluate clients’ plans and schedules and provide advice to improve and optimize SYNCHRO utilization;  Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, or cost tracking reports; Direct activities concerned with the construction or maintenance of structures, facilities, or systems; Facilitate safety planning to clients by showing movement of the construction equipment on site and detecting potential issues in advance; Study job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods; Test and deploy software products. REQUIREMENTS: U.S. Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent in Civil or Environmental Engineering, plus academic and/or professional experience with lean construction, construction management, Building Information Modeling (BIM), Critical Path Method (CPM), virtual design and construction, 4D planning, process simulation and working with tools including Microsoft Project, AutoCad, Revit and Blue Beam. 40% travel to various client sites for software demos and training.
