High Level Function and Role Overview

The function of the team is to manage and support Microsoft SharePoint Online and On-premise, Microsoft One Drive for Business, Box.com, DocuSign, and Nintex for AstraZeneca ensuring high availability for all global users.

The purpose of this position is to provide 24*7 technical support on all aspects of incidents, problems and changes meeting the required SLA’s. This will involve configuring, enhancing and upgrading/maintaining these technologies, on desktop, as well as mobile apps.

The role will require the candidate to be a good communicator with excellent analytical skills and be a collaborative team player working with other service lines within the organisation.

Candidate Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Successful candidates will have expertise in Collaboration technologies and will have previously operated in an enterprise wide support environment with equivalent to 3 and above years’ experience.

The candidate must be able to demonstrate successful technical issue resolution that provided clear business value.

Specifically, candidates will have proven experience in a significant number of the following technical domains:

  • Significant technical knowledge SharePoint On-line, On-premise, O365, AZURE, Power Platform etc.,
  • Resolution of Incidents to the required SLA’s.
  • Knowledge in PowerShell
  • Operational support and team management of SharePoint administrators including performance management
  • Ability to troubleshoot desktop and mobile apps used with collaboration tools.
  • Understanding of windows and/or IOS operating system and use of mobile devices.
  • Knowledge of ITIL Processes.
  • Application of hotfixes and performance of scheduled maintenance activities.
  • Managed escalations to Microsoft and other 3rd party vendors and other service teams
  • Creation & maintenance of system documentation including assistance and guidance to end-users.

Essential personal skill will include:

  • Ability to communicate with business users and other Service teams at all levels in a professional manner
  • Demonstrate leadership in the resolution of business user incidents and service creation.
  • Have patience, understanding and the ability to proactively take responsibility of the business user’s problems.
  • Have a keen sense of urgency and take responsibility of incidents.
  • Demonstrate competence in oral and written communication.
  • Have a flexible approach to working as a team player ensuring knowledge is captured and shared.
  • Be self-motivated and is able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Global experience – working and interacting with teams and customers globally

Desirable Skills will include:

  • Hands on experience in Office 365 (SharePoint, One Drive) preferably in an enterprise environment.
  • Knowledge and experience in BOX, DocuSign & Cloud storage service is added advantage.
  • Knowledge and experience with SharePoint Online/ OneDrive/Nintex technologies & application support.
  • Capable to understand the existing SharePoint On-premises platform (SP2010 and SP2013) and troubleshoot.
  • Knowledge in handling Nintex forms and workflows Issues and provide support.
  • Knowledge & experience with DocuSign electronic signature SaaS, including administration & use case development.
  • Experience using Service Now.
  • Good understanding of LAN, WAN or WLAN and TCP/IP protocol.
  • Microsoft Active Directory support, deployment, migration & configuration experience.
  • Microsoft Certified IT Professional.
  • Microsoft desktop applications support experience.
  • ITIL Certified is an added advantage.
