Feel free to click on this link to see what it’s like to work here; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-vmmNjaEr04 Areas of Responsibility: Your main day-to-day duties will be to work on our Metering and Network connections team, though you will also undertake work as part of our sub-metering team and any other bespoke technical installation projects as required; this could include but would not be limited to: •Panel meter installations into LV/HV switchgear •The installation and commissioning of various types of Current Transformers in various types of locations •Installation and commissioning of EV chargers including submission of required industry paperwork (installation certificates etc) •Carrying out metering surveys and then delivering bespoke quotation proposals alongside our Technical Specialist •Carry out complete installations and replacements of single phase and 3 phase WC meters. •Installation and Maintenance of LV/HV COP3, COP 5 and COP 10 Smart Metering Systems for Commercial and Industrial Customers to. •Installation and commissioning of various legacy metering equipment setups •Installation, wiring and commissioning of CT’s where applicable •various sized cable connections into network service heads •CT cabinet installation/wiring as applicable What skills and experience you will bring to the role: •Be familiar with industry-standard meter types (EDMI, Elster, ISKRA etc) and their software. •Familiarity with various metering modems is required as well as a sound electrical background, including relevance to the installation of Smart Metering (AMR/AMI) to Code of Practice 3, 5 and 10 •Willingness to be registered against the chosen approving body for Siemens works (NAPIT etc) •Ability to take on new information for installation work and deliver work requirements •Nationally recognised Level 3 electrical qualification, AM2 as well as Inspection and Test and 18th Edition certification •Demonstrable electrical knowledge via theory and practical elements including installation practices, wiring configurations, and containment installation Desirable but not essential qualifications: •MOCOPA Authorisation to HVCT •IPAF •PASMA •NRSWA We’ve got quite a lot to offer.
