Job Description
Position Description: Lenovo is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of consumer marketing who is responsible for developing the Marketing strategy to support the NA consumer business, working in close collaboration with the Global Business Units and the NA Business Leadership. This role will be responsible for generating awareness and consideration and driving demand for Lenovo products through integrated marketing campaigns and partner programs. This position will ensure retail and eCommerce sales alignment to ensure strategic objectives are accomplished. Responsibilities:  Lead Retail and Brand marketing team  E2E Ownership of Consumer Marketing Strategy and Execution for NA to drive demand for Lenovo products and impact sell in/sell out  Drive Lenovo PC Premium and Gaming Brand initiatives in NA and deliver Best In Class Customer Experience in all touch points (Omnichannel)  Own, develop and manage the advertising and promotions budget, expanding joint funding opportunities with Lenovo key alliance partners (Intel, AMD, Microsoft, Nvidia, …)  Lead relationships and program development with retailers and key partners  Partner with the Executive Leadership team, including Sales, Business Management, Product Marketing, Operations, and Finance to understand key business initiatives and priorities and to establish marketing strategies and programs  Partner with Business Unit marketing organization on the creation of Brand campaigns and content development  Leverage key dashboards and reports to metrics to track and to optimize campaign effectiveness, program-level effectiveness, and lead performance #### Position Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management, or related field. MBA a plus • 10-15 years of marketing experience • Experience building integrated go-to-marketing strategies and marketing campaigns • Ability to think strategically, but also have exceptional attention to detail • Previous budget management experience required • Previous and proven effective personnel management experience required • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to senior management • Strong leadership, teamwork, and interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with both internal and external customers • Excellent organizational and project management skills with ability to operate on a wide range of topics and projects at one time • Strong analytical and quantitative capability to determine program effectiveness, ROI, etc. • Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills • Some travel required We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any federal, state, or local protected class.
