Location: Preference for Huntsville Office, Alabama, or virtually connected.

 

Position Summary:

 

As part of the digital twin product marketing team, your role is executing the strategy for the go-to-market for certain Bentley solutions/apps powered by iTwin for your industry in alignment with sales/user success including lead generation, nurturing or ABM activities. Your primary responsibility is focused on marketing activities for your initiative in support of driving dollars to pipeline. Based on audience, and sales initiative, you will work with the industry marketing director and other initiative team members to develop the marketing for the short term (1 year or less) goals. This includes buyer journey storyline/message, definition/execution of the go-to-market activities based on audience profile (segment, discipline, buyer persona and needs), as well as the digital marketing process (lead generation, ABM, etc.).

 

You will need to work across the organization (marketing, product groups, user success, sales) to develop effective go-to-market content, craft positioning documents, and work with the industry team to create and deliver presentations, sales enablement materials and develop integrated campaigns (as needed).  And finally, you will need to understand and articulate how your specific go-to-market plan relates to the larger industry vision defined by industry marketing, product managers and sales.

 

Your Day-to-Day:

 

  • Collaborate with industry marketing, product management and development teams, sales, user success, to set the strategy and the go-to-market plan, including communication, for each of the channels (and regions) in your initiative
    • Work with appropriate sales channel to define the objectives (e.g. SLAs)
    • Work with EMM to define execution strategy (audience segmentation, and outbound/inbound plan)
    • Work with Sales Ops to define and coordinate the lead flow/hand-off
  • Work with industry manager, product management team, sales, and others in the organization to develop clear and compelling value propositions
    • Demonstrate story-telling abilities that can make the complex simple, and invoke both empathy and excitement 
    • Build buyer journey materials (both marketing and sales)
    • Develop relevant sales enablement content (with industry marketing and the initiative team)
  • Own multi-channel campaign go-to-market plan and the lead generation strategy and plan, determining MQL and SQL targets overall from all channels, and working with Account Managers to follow up on leads generated
  • Plan and oversee campaigns executed by engagement marketing
    • Participate in regular coordination meetings with engagement manager and program manager
    • Collaborate with the Digital Engagement Marketing Managers (marketing automation) to ensure effectiveness of multi-channel campaigns
  • Develop the content and plan for promotions and hand off or execution to the appropriate teams (e.g. EMM for lead nurtures or ABM team)
  • Create ad content and work with social team (paid social) or Project Manager(advertising) to define audience targets/segmentation, goals/objectives, and lead routing.
  • Work with Product Manager to maintain competitive fact base; including competitor successes, product offerings, positioning, price structure, how to sell against, etc.
  • Product Launch (when appliable)- work with industry marketers, sales, customer success teams, and product managers to complete marketing tasks and ensure initiatives and new releases are launched effectively and on-time

 

What You Bring to The Team:

 

  • 7+ years of software Marketing Experience a must
  • Related degree in Marketing / Engineering field or comparable experience with AEC / Enterprise software marketing domain knowledge
  • Some Marketing Automation Experience (HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot) – exposure to the needs and requirements for automation; development experience not required for this role. 
  • Strong English writing and communications skills required
  • Strong English presentation preparation skills required
  • Strong B-to-B experience and skills
  • Must be computer savvy, can multitask, prioritize, and work well under pressure in a team environment
