Job Description


RWS are in a very exciting time with the coming together of multiple companies over the last couple years into RWS Holdings plc. A new project to develop a group wide taxonomy structure is currently underway and we are looking for an experienced Content Strategist to join us. 

This opportunity is within the RWS Group services and marketing team. We require a person that is passionate about developing and implementing a content strategy based on our business objectives.

This role requires working with senior stakeholders across the business to ensure that the content strategy is consistently meeting client, customer and end user needs. 

Your responsibilities will include:
* Owner of the RWS content strategy
* Calculating content ROI – operational efficiency and sales revenue
* Design for governance, workflows and taxonomies in a user-centred approach
* Asset management and workflow optimization
* Govern taxonomies and continually evolve in line with business objectives and user needs
* Working with Senior stakeholders to ensure their content needs are being met
* Conduct content analysis, reviews and audits
* Ensure that there is consistency for style guides, tone of voice and metadata frameworks 
* Owner of the content change management process and content migration plans
* Guardian for content requirements, standards, guidelines and processes.
* Localization and translation workflow improvements

* A good understanding of marketing and importance of marketing and sales content


Ideal Qualifications:
* Demonstrable track record of implementing a content strategy and governing complex taxonomies
* A degree is preferred, but equivalent experience will be seriously considered
* 5 to 10 years of experience
* Agile project delivery experience for digital projects
* Working knowledge of SEO
* Technical knowledge and experience to create or design workable prototypes
* A good overall understanding of website technologies. 
* Excel experience is required; experience with using or building macros a plus.
* Quantitative and pragmatic qualities a plus
* Experience of the Localization industry 
* Experience with industry tools and analytics a plus
* In depth knowledge of Digital asset management and content platforms
