Eaton's Crouse-Hinds Business manufactures over 100,000 products for NEC and IEC applications. Eaton’s Electrical division is currently seeking a Continuous Improvement Quality Manager to join our team. This position is based at our Washington, PA location and is offering relocation assistance if needed! As the Continuous Improvement (CI) Quality Manger you will drive performance excellence to improve competitiveness and customer satisfaction by deploying and utilizing CI, Lean and Quality tools & processes. In this function you will: Be a key member of our plant Leadership Team Lead improvements in areas such as employee safety, quality performance, factory margins, product delivery performance and reductions in product/process variation Build organizational capability and develop local Tool Champions Utilize change management techniques to effectively drive and sustain process improvements & promote Best-Practices Lead the Eaton Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF) deployment (visual controls, process standardization, leader standard work, Gemba walks, manning strategy, daily accountability, process checks and CI for everyone) Plan and support successful kaizen / Rapid Improvement Events (RIE) Lead self-assessments, monitor assessment outcomes and corrective action plans, and impact on business results Coach and mentor functions in root cause analysis and problem-solving tools/methods Manage and Support the achievement of Plant Cost Out goals as established by Profit Plan Responsible for driving quality systems manufacturing compliance to agency requirements Improve the Cost of Non-Conformance and leading teams to a higher customer satisfaction Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited Institution Minimum 3 years of Continuous Improvement or Lean processes in Manufacturing environment Minimum 1 year of Quality Experience Must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship Success in this role is defined as: Driving results by developing and empowering teams Showing proficiency with lean manufacturing tools (VSM, 5S, Set-Up Reduction, etc.) Understanding problem-solving methodologies used in determining root cause and formulating corrective action(s) (8D, Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis, control charts, Pareto charts, etc.) Understanding production volume environments including safety requirements and use of lean techniques Being familiar Audit participation for ISO and TS requirements Possessing or working towards being a CQM or CQE.
