Job Description
Eaton’s Vehicle Division is currently seeking a Continuous Improvement Coordinator to join our team. This position is based at our Roxboro, NC location and relocation services are available. Position Overview: The primary function of the Lead CI Coordinator is to support the CI Manager with ongoing reporting and analysis of key business performance metrics, across manufacturing operations and business support functions, in order to target the highest potential improvement opportunities across business High Five metrics. The analysis and reporting will be a fundamental input into the planning and delivery of the annual Roxboro EBS Pull process. The CI Coordinator will further be responsible for planning, facilitating and following-up on the delivery of key RIE and BPI events throughout the year, which will be targeted through the annual EBS Pull process. The CI Coordinator will also be a key resource for delivering standards, tools and training across the business. In this function you will: Experience in project management with proficiency in scoping projects, building business cases, and subsequently planning and delivering projects against agreed time, cost and quality objectives. Strong facilitation skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams outside of core area of knowledge/experience. Train and coach process owners in the use of lean and statistical tools, approaches and techniques to create process management and measurement systems and develop an operational excellence mindset at the department level Effective presentation skills with the ability to deliver training presentation and events. Experience with SharePoint Online, Power Automate and/or Power Apps software packages will be advantageous. Good knowledge of basic statistics will be useful, especially experience with MiniTab and/or @RISK software packages. Ideally the individual will have strong analytical and data processing skills, with the ability to build, develop and maintain business intelligence reports (OBIEE, Power BI, Oracle etc.). Strong ethics, values and the ability to influence others’ decision making. Ability to lead change initiatives both at a plant level and across an organization. Ability to manage programs consisting of multiple projects/activities; with a key focus on time, cost and quality. Good knowledge and understanding of other core business functions i.e. EHS, Facilities & Maintenance, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, SCM, Program Management, Engineering, Finance, Commercial, HR Basic working knowledge/experience with AutoCAD will be beneficial. Process and systems oriented with an ability to identify and drive opportunities for improvement. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution No sponsorship available for this position Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technical Field from an accredited institution Experience with EHS and Quality field 3 years in a similar role (Engineering, Quality, Lean Management, Operations, CI, Advanced Manufacturing) 1+ year of experience working with lean tools such as 5S+, Standard Work, TPM and VSM, Six Sigma, Yellow/Green Belt We make what matters work.
