Job Description
Eaton’s Vehicle Division is currently seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager, to join our team remotely, in the United States. The Continuous Improvement Manager will drive the deployment of the CI Strategies in all manufacturing locations within the Vehicle Group. The primary focus is the adoption of all relevant EBS tools – CIF, ELSS, and OpA to optimize manufacturing operational performance and identify the pipeline of talented CI skills across the organization. CI Manager is also responsible to consolidate VG Key Performance Indicators (KPI) monthly. The main responsibilities of this role: work with CI Mgr. & Site Leadership teams to embrace our ELLS (tools & process), driving its utilization in a disciplined and rigorous way to achieve higher performance levels, support execution of key needle movers CI projects within the specified area of responsibility, support OPA process through annual assessment, through identifying and establish improvements actions plans driving overall business improvement, support development of a pool of CI talents on ELSS functional competencies as well on their certification on ELLS tools and culture, drive use of structure problem solving shaping the culture and getting results, drive development of Six Sigma competencies among our regional teams, finally driving sustainability of achieved results. Essential Functions: Provide leadership and guidance over Continuous Improvement projects and initiatives. Support Regional Managers and CI Site Leaders on CI initiatives. Develop and maintains metrics/methods to track costs and processes to support business goals. Data Analysis and extensive work with Excel. 50-70% Travel component. Candidates must be able to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future. Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future. Preferred Qualifications: MBA degree, Masters Preferred Fluent in Spanish. CV/LV industry experience Reside within 100 miles of an international airport Strong analytical skill, problem solving tools/methods (Six Sigma, 8D, Blackbelt), Lean Tools Teach and Coach effectively, drive for results, plan, organize and motivate others. Strong Communication skills and comfort with facilitating teams/groups and working with all levels of the organization.
