This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Continuous Improvement Professional at the Americas Distribution Center in Plainfield, Indiana, you will be responsible for:

  • Executing the business operational excellence strategy for focused areas and will drive the implementation throughout the business.
  • Developing area specific continuous improvement goals and targets Improvement teams.
  • Driving improvement throughout the site utilizing Healthineers Performance System’s tools and methodology (examples: PDCA, A3, 6 Sigma, Value Stream mapping, Hoshin Kanri, Kaizen, SPC, R and R, Process capability).
  • Managing the 3i Suggestion Program for the ADC

  • You have ability to own and drive lean projects and take ownership for related productivity.
  • You have a passion for key performance metrics, using them to communicate status and demonstrate improvements.
  • You can collaboratively work with peers and other site functions.
  • You have good project coordinator skills and be prepared to take a lead role in project teams.
  • You have strong communication and interpersonal skills, connecting with all levels of the business
  • You have thorough knowledge of the lean tools and a demonstrable track record of successful implementation.
  • You can operate and liaison at all levels including managerial, project and technical.

Required skills to have for the success of this role

  • A Bachelor's or master’s degree in Engineering or Manufacturing.
  • Prior experience (+2 years) in a continuous improvement position.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or logistics/distribution facility
  • Strong communications skills
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
