We deliver products and systems designed to connect, protect and control electrical systems, ensuring reliability, efficiency and safety for equipment and personnel.

As a Continuous Improvement specialist, you will work with a team of designers/engineers in Sales & Marketing Unit China Product Group/ EL Marketing and Sales Business Line/ Electrification Business. You will be in charge of business process development & implementation within a Local Sales unit, liaison with the global counterparts to replicate the global processes, best practices and solutions at the regional level to meet and exceed customer’s expectation and ABB commercial guidelines.

Drive to make it easier for customers to do business with us through an easy to use front-end, supported by an efficient back-end integration.

Your responsibilities

  • Partnering with senior leaders to understand their organization’s vision, objectives and improvement needs in order to drive a course of action; working with leaders to identify and access the best resources (internal or external) with which to work.
  • Improving the customer experience - Making it easy for customers to navigate our business and improve our ability to plan, promise and deliver across BU/Division. Implementing global SFDC/FACE tools in China, like to apply CQP quotations, CQP quotation syn Process, channel partner business plans etc.
  • Driving speed, efficiency & effectiveness - Providing front to back integration, speed and transparency to enable our people to make better decisions and deliver more effectively, coordinating and guiding champion activity in China, reviewing BU training plan and monitoring training adoption.
  • Facilitating resources for our internal function/department continuous improvement efforts until the work is self-sustainable. Building up competency and resources to sustain solution. Facilitating the sharing of best practices and ensuring harmonized and standardized processes throughout the Group to deliver consistent support.
  • Providing organization-wide visibility of the current portfolio of continuous improvement efforts, tracking via metrics/KPIs progress and value from these efforts in order to help decision makers allocate resources and recognizing success with special focus on operational cost reduction.
  • Supporting Country SPOC for SFDC Strategy - Targeting customer needs & growth more effectively, building deep insights of our customers’ needs, identifying and targeting our most profitable product and market segments, driving and following up on group SFDC strategic initiatives, setup, drive and development and optimized SFDC organization structure.

Your background

  • Must have a master’s degree with at least 5-8 years of Marketing experience.
  • Should be Fluent in Mandarin and English both written and spoken, Good communication skills with global is desired.
  • Lean six sigma green belt or superior is a plus.
  • Must have solid project management and data analytics skills.
  • Must have good experience for process operational excellence, Solid Change management and must be able to drive change as change agent.
  • Must be SFDC Champion with experience in managing marketing technology or integration marketing and enterprise applications.
  • Must have prior experience working in international environments and across multiple business units.
  • Must understand business dynamics, knowledge of service, process industries and/or ABB.
  • Should be motivated, self-starter, with a keen interest in developing and implementing best practices and innovative solutions with ability to work effectively with senior management. Must be mature and composed person, adept at managing change and handling resistance effectively associated to the implementation. Must have ability to thrive in a fast paced, high energy, results oriented environment with enthusiasm and have strong personal leadership.
