The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority is a statutory body established by the Hong Kong SAR Government in 2008, responsible for developing the West Kowloon Cultural District.

Job title: Editor,Performing Arts (Contract)

Department: Performing Arts

Duration: 1 year contract (subject to renewable)

Location: Project Site Office (TST)

You will be responsible for:

• Writing and editing Chinese materials;
• Upholding the quality, accuracy and consistency of Chinese language materials
• developing, adapting and maintaining content including but not limited to website, blogs, house programmes, social networking sites;
• Driving the production of printed materials, including but not limited to house programmes, leaflets and books;

You should:

• possess a recognised university degree or equivalent in relevant disciplines;
• have at least 6 years of relevant experience with minimum 2 years of experience in publishing and other relevant industries. Candidates with less experience but demonstrate good potential will also be considered;
• have interest in arts and culture, a good understanding of arts and cultural scene in Hong Kong;
• have proven experience in managing editorial workflows;
• be a team player, yet creative, engaging and adventurous and keen to work in a start-up environment;
• be self-motivated, able to work independently and provide quality, timely support and delivery of works;
• be good interpersonal and communication skills and multi-tasking; and
• be proficient in Chinese writing.
