We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and dedicated Contract Management Professional to join our team in Melbourne. The Contract Management Professional will be primarily responsible for ensuring that contract deliverables and governance commitments are met, with a focus on adding value to our dedicated Sales team. Your mission and responsibilities: Support all aspects of contracts from tender response, negotiation and execution through to project delivery in close cooperation with Legal Counsel, Project Management and Account Managers. Contract lead on large and complex projects, ensuring project execution in compliance with all contractual obligations. Interpreting and administering contractual obligations and disputes Develop, implement and regularly review the claim strategy with regards to customers, sub-suppliers and partners together with project management. Ensuring contract deliverables and governance commitments are met. Capturing internal data and preparing presentations and analyses. Participate in contract negotiations and in formulation/implementation of negotiation strategy. Contributes to standardisation of contracts and improvement processes. Ensuring that we live our values of a High performance culture. Provide an interface between operational teams and the Healthineers legal team. Analyse and comment on tenders, contracts and contract related documents and give proactive advice. Supports LoA process and checks compliance with other internal guidelines and / or processes. Participates in contract negotiations and in formulation/implementation of negotiation strategy across all contract types - equipment supply, maintenance + other ad hoc queries such as NDAs,, novation agreements etc. Ensures Project Execution - including resolution and submission of claims and notifications. Ensure adherence to internal standards and compliance with external regulations. Your qualifications and experience: Previous role in legal, commercial, procurement or contract management Previous experience in providing Contracts Management in a Project and Service Delivery environment Previous experience managing Head Contracts and Supplier Sub-contracts. Maintenance of effective working relationships with project operational staff. Experience working in a legal environment would be highly regarded Extensive experience in contract negotiation and contract administration/management as well as sound knowledge and practical experience in the application of commercial and contract law Experience with head contract and subcontract management including variation controls and claims management. Understanding of commercial drivers for business and mitigation of risks will be a strength as well as the ability to collaborate across all levels of a business. Team player who can work across a number of projects simultaneously and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Sound knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) Organisation / Time Management Skills High level attention to detail Initiative Results and Quality Orientated Presentation Skills Decision Making Skills Negotiation Skills Tertiary qualifications in Law, Business, Commerce or Construction Management Additional training and professional development preferred You must be able to provide evidence of your eligibility to work in Australia.
