Responsible for contract management activities are tendered, negotiated and executed

Your responsibilities

• Being responsible for reviewing and commenting on contract terms and conditions, supporting bid go/no-go decisions based on risk assessment of contract terms and conditions.
• Identifying the contract baseline (including terms and conditions, and other commercial documents incorporated in the contract) and highlights areas of potential risk from project kick-off to project closure, giving guidance on general contractual issues, clarifying queries if required by referring to Legal Department.
• Participating/providing support to the sales or project manager in the contract negotiations and claim negotiations
• Enforcing and defending ABB’s contractual interests towards customers, including monitoring and assessment of changes and deviations, as well as defending and enforcing claims, supporting Legal handling formal dispute resolution, litigation and arbitration, notifying and liaising with Legal for reporting major claims and keeping Legal updated of any critical development during project execution.
• Ensuring timely and accurate execution of commercial aspects of contracts (payments, claims, variation orders, warranties, provisions, bank credits, etc.).
• Coordinating and monitoring the implementation of ABB group directives and guidelines and taking over the Risk Review for sales contract, MOM responsible, monitoring the following actions.
• Providing guidance on legal, tax and insurance matters through coordination with legal, tax and insurance department.
• Being responsible for the chop of contract, quotation letter and other documents related to tender or project execution.

Your background

• Must have a bachelor’s degree or above experience in contract review, contract negotiation, risk management and project execution are preferred.
• Good knowledge on contract terms and conditions, risk control required.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English, both written and oral, good communication skill, being highly responsible, self-motivated and being autonomous at work are desired.
• Must have a very strong learning ability and pragmatic spirit, and should have a positive progressive attitude under pressure to work.
