Contracts Intern

• Remote Position - Work from anywhere! 
• Hours can be part time or fulltime
• Pay starts at $25/hr

 

POSITION SUMMARY

Operating within the Sales Operations group, and reporting to the Director, Deal Desk, the Contracts Intern will serve for a minimum of two months, beginning as soon as possible. During the internship, the individual will be exposed to the legal and commercial obligations of a global software company with complex commercial models that vary by product and region. As a Contracts Intern with Bentley Systems you will locate contracts, review them for non-standard terms (i.e., special commercial arrangements), and present those non-standard contractual obligations to Legal, Sales Operations, and Financial Operations leadership.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review commercial contracts and identify non-standard contract commitments
• Prepare summaries of applicable contract termination avenues
• Cultivate termination guidance for non-standard vehicles and review guidance with Legal
• Develop timelines for Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) recovery in alignment with discovered obligations and report to Sales Operations

QUALIFICATIONS

• Enrollment as a full-time college student preceding and following the assignment
• A GPA of 3.0 or higher at the time of application with degree track in Business Administration, English Literature, or other applicable pre-JD disciplines
• Extremely effective communication skills with exceptional English writing and public-speaking skills
• Strong interpersonal engagement skills and capability for interaction with colleagues at every level of the company, across all business lines.
• Functional fluency in a second language (e.g., German, French, or Spanish) highly desirable
