Location:This position will ideally be based out of our global headquarters in Exton, PA, though consideration may be given for a remote option in the US.

 

Position Summary:

Are you a contract negotiator with 3-5 years of experience with government/public sector transactions? Do you enjoy the challenge of working within a global legal department with colleagues in more than 40 offices? If so, we should talk! 

 

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing, drafting and negotiating commercial technology licensing, consulting and subcontracting agreements with public sector entities and advising on responding to RFPs.
  • Working with GSA, State and local procurement contracts via direct sales or through multilayered transactions including resellers.
  • Reviewing other transactional documentation, including Purchase Orders, and other user terms and conditions for the purchase of software licenses and related services.
  • Work responsibilities that clearly demonstrate attention to detail, time management, and organizational proficiency due to highly complex and fast pace of work environment.
  • Communicating effectively across multiple mediums – phone/Microsoft Teams, in-person, email.

 

What You Bring to the Team:

  • Demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills, ability to communicate clearly and succinctly to a variety of audiences.
  • Demonstrated capability in presenting contract terms, negotiation issues, and risk analysis to key stakeholders and provide recommendations.
  • At least three years’ experience negotiating federal and state contracts, such as GSA, NASPO, or specific state framework agreements such as CMAS.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and engagements concurrently.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience with technology licensing, including cloud offerings, and negotiating data security terms.
  • Prior in-house experience negotiating government contracts is a strong plus.
  • Prior public sector experience at the federal, state or local level is a strong plus.
  • Experience with project release procedures and/or contract management system is a plus.
  • A J.D. is preferred but is not required.
