As a Sub-Project Manager, you will lead a team of HVDC engineering specialists to design and deliver full control and protection solutions for HVDC Project. We make real what matters. This is your role · Responsibility for the preparation of offers and project management of control technology and protection systems (Control & Protection) for high-voltage direct current transmission systems (HVDC) regarding deadlines, costs, and quality · Technical management of the C&P offer / order processing team as well as close coordination with project management, project leads and experts from the fields of study preparation, software, and hardware engineering as well as test planning and implementation · Responsibility for planning, monitoring, and controlling the offer / order processing including technical conception, delimitation of the scope of delivery, scheduling / resource planning, costing, calculation, quality control as well as management of opportunities and risks · Responsible for subcontracting · Responsible for reporting, information management, revision, and order completion as well as implementation of process and design reviews We don’t need superheroes, just super minds Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or comparable 7-10 years of experience in power transmission and Control & Protection systems. Preferable: Experience in Project Management/Coordination. Key Skills · Several years of professional experience as well as experience in project management · Technically knowledgeable in the areas of converter technology, high voltage technology and control technology · Knowledge of HVDC technology and plant engineering are ideal · Extensive knowledge in dealing with MS Office applications and PM tools · Complete English fluency in business Communication with international stakeholders. · Expert level Communication skills for clarifying requirements/solutions and resolving misunderstandings. · Mindset of growth and service to support colleagues and always think win-win · Intercultural experience is ideal as well as willingness to go on business trips (customer clarification, Commissioning support) · Pronounced Time management and Prioritization Skills.
