The Finance Controlling & Planning CoE has the responsibility of working closely with the division and country organizations to drive Controlling & Planning standardization across businesses, regions and functions and optimize existing Controlling & Planning resources to better serve the business.

As a Controlling and Planning CoE - Functional Controlling Financial Analyst you will be reporting to Controlling and Planning Manager in Global Business Services, Finance Expert Services located in Xiamen, China.

Your responsibilities

• Working in functional controlling analytical services based on customer requirements, semiautomated and manual analytical services, and one-off (ad-hoc) analytical output.
• Consolidating and analyzing financial data to track and assess performance against targets and benchmarks, communicating on performance results and implications of presented reports.
• Giving an initial comments and explanation to indicated performance variance. Identifying and communicating actionable steps to address variance. Driving cost savings by good cost development reports and analyzing on functional controlling Cost Centre cost.
• Providing the functional cost allocation. Providing other management, operation performance KPI and ad-hoc reports and analysis to support functional, delivery lead and GPG controller decision-making.
• Benchmarking of processes, tools and solutions in order to further optimize and standardize functional controlling activities. Optimizing own performance to increase productivity by developing automated solutions, eliminating duplications, coordinating information requirements.
• Ensuring processes and controls within own area of responsibility are designed and implemented in line with group and unit requirements.
• Conducting balance sheet review and valuation related to functional controlling balance sheet account. Facilitating budgeting and forecasting process by communicating guidelines, timetables and templates.

Your background

• A bachelor’s degree.
• Years of experience in similar role 2+ years, experience in functional controlling reporting & analysis preferred.
• Experience in SAP and data analytical tools such as PowerBI preferred.
• Excellent skills in MS Excel, Power-point.
• Good communication skills with proficiency in English speaking and written skills, Japanese and Korean speaking skills preferred.
