The candidate will act as Data Privacy lead for Zone LAM consisting of the countries Brazil, Mexico, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Chile, Bolivia, Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay. In this role the candidate will be appointed as Data Privacy Coordinator for all legal entities in the above-mentioned countries. The Data Privacy Function is part of the overall Legal Organization in Siemens Healthineers. As the position is located in São Paulo/ SP, Brazil, you will report in country to the General Counsel of Siemens Healthineers Brazil. However, the functional reporting will be to the Head of Data Privacy of Siemens Healthineers headquartered in Erlangen, Germany. You will be responsible for: You act as a trusted advisor to the respective management on all Data Privacy related matters You support the business with respect to all Data Privacy relevant questions in their operations and ensure that this is in line with the local laws and processes of the global Data Privacy Management System You monitor adherence to the Data Protection requirements in the organization You support in case of data privacy breaches and act as sole contact to the Data Protection Authorities You conduct trainings · You keep the Head of Data Privacy informed on all material Data Privacy topics in the country to enable her to perform her tasks as Group Data Privacy Officer Your qualifications and experience: · You have concluded your law studies in Brazil · Full bachelor's degree · Years of work experience out of which you worked as a minimum 4 years in the Data Privacy field either inhouse in a legal department, in a law firm or with the relevant Authorities. · You have excellent language skills in Portuguese, Spanish, and English which enables you to communicate with the various levels in the organization, including management and with Authorities. · You convince with your methodical way of thinking as well as high analytical and organizational skills, which enable you to structure even complex issues in terms of data protection law and to prepare and explain them to colleagues outside your field of expertise · You can work under pressure and set priorities in order to deal with a large number of topics in a structured manner, even with short deadlines, round off your profile. · Good understanding of Manufacturing (Reagent Manufacturing is a plus) Our globalteam: We are a team of 66,000 highly dedicated employees across more than 70 countries passionately pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in healthcare to help improve people’s lives around the world.
