Job Description

Eaton’s Vehicle division is currently seeking a WHS Coordinator to join our team. This position is based at our Aguascalientes facility.

The WHS Coordinator is responsible for review MRO requirements to fulfill stock and spot buys to assure on time production schedule, interfacing directly with suppliers and negotiating prices and T&C´s. Effectively manage Materials in the warehouse including Receiving transactions, Picking transactions, and Shipping.

Some activities related with the position will be:

  • Monitor and ensure that Fastenal and PSMI (in house suppliers) provides integrated sourcing, bar coded storeroom management, automatic restocking programs, vendor-managed inventory, JIT programs, and on-line ordering.
  • Maintains inventory accuracy levels and proper stock inventory for effective production scheduling
  • Coordinates activities related to shipments, receipt and repackaged products (National and International)
  • Participate in Cost Reduction Projects, Kaizens, Ideas, etc
  • Coordinate and facilitate the acquisition of goods and services
  • Budget-planning and reconciling
  • Leads Cycle Counts, procedures and reports outcomes.
  • In charge of Warehouse management.
  • Ensures integrity of receiving and shipping transactions
  • Ensure an optimal Continuous Materials Flow in the Shop Floor
  • Follow up of Customer Performance.

Calificaciones

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s required; MBA preferred
  • 3-5 years’ experience of the Supply Chain Management area.
  • Experience in the automotive industry, with extensive knowledge of the supply base available in Mexico for vehicles components.
  • Oracle experience preferred
  • Customer service & communications skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work on their own and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate with suppliers.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Spanish and English communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Must be able to read and understand product drawings.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and enforce contracts with suppliers.
  • SQA experience is beneficial, but not required.
  • SIOP experience is beneficial, but nor required.
  • APICS
