General Summary

The primary responsibility is to assist in the audience growth and development of our products through fulfilling the spectrum of content curation activities across all platforms, including planning & scheduling content as well as content development and sourcing for China.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic planning of specified China blocks, including planning of lineups and scheduling in IBMS

Ensure that program schedule changes are completed timely and accurately

Coordinate with other departments and external parties to ensure the materials are delivered to affiliates in a timely manner
Assist in coordination with regional offices and external parties for Content related matters
Support China office’s business operational requests (from Ad sales, Marcom and Distribution) related to Content
Maintain program inventories
Tracking of program rights for various content and product usage
Create presentation deck for internal and external parties
Assist in content evaluation and sourcing for China region
Assist in development of programming stunts based on overall programming strategy, maximizing value of available inventory, localizing the feeds, and providing platform for marketing and ad sales

Monitor programming trends and ratings against competitors and gain knowledge of channel performance based on ratings analysis and research reports

Requirements

Degree or Diploma holder

2 years in TV or 1 year + 1 year general development

Ability to analyze research data and other information in the formulation of programming strategies
Ability to amass, process and organize information
Familiar with trend and knowledge of new media market
Fluent and effective communication skills in both English and Chinese (Mandarin), both verbal and written

Excellent presentation skills (Powerpoint)

Computer literacy, especially in Office software
Highly organized, with attention to detail
High degree of adaptability to changes in the nature of the industry
