In Redford, Michigan, the focus is on Powertrain and eDrive technology as well as in Long Beach, where the teams test durability of the latest driver assistant and telematic systems. The Digital Hub in Seattle focusses on developing a cloud architecture and building out the cloud platform for the next generation of connected car services. The Testing and Regulatory Affairs Division in Ann Arbor and the Advanced Vehicle Design in Carlsbad complete the competence center.
Position Overview
Support engineering team with centralized vehicle and testing material coordination, logistics and communication.
Responsibilities
•Coordinate test vehicle fleet including vehicle/part logistics with on & off-site service providers/locations.
•Monitor, update and maintain mileage accumulation status for all durability testing vehicles.
•Monitor, forecast and schedule planned vehicle appointments (i.e. services, emissions test, etc.)
•Maintain inventory, procure and optimize testing materials and parts (oil, filters, tires, brakes, etc.).
•Regularly interface with service providers to facilitate most effective and efficient data exchange including vehicle issues/resolution for durability engineers
•Track, evaluate and report on assigned KPIs for overviews to engineers and management
•Identify, implement and verify opportunities for improvement within the team and area of responsibilities to support cost effective operations

Education & Experience
Required Qualifications
- Minimum level of education required and required field of study:
Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Business, Engineering, or Technical field of study
- Minimum skills required :
•Excellent organizational, coordination, planning skills
•Proficiency using MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint & Word)
•English language proficiency and communication skills
•Interpersonal skills to work with employees in various job positions in an intercultural work environment
•Computer familiarity
•Self-motivated
