Job Description

  • Manage system health checks and data backups
  • Proactively upgrade and monitor on servers and IT equipment
  • Assist and test Disaster Recovery plan annually
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks or projects assigned by supervisor
  • Helpdesk implementation and management
  • Collaborate and work with internal and external sources or vendors
  • End user communications of networking, server or other service changes or interruptions
  • Maintain IT assets inventory and records
  • Maintain high level of technical competence; assist staff in resolving complex technical problems and work with guests to ensure solutions are satisfactory
  • Document and provide training to internal users in the basic operation and maintenance of computers and related components
  • Provide reports and communication progress to Manager
  • Perform related work appropriate to the classification as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Diploma / Degree in Computer Science or related disciplines
  • 1 years related experience in providing technical support on PC, Servers
  • Hands-on experience in IT daily operations support
  • Experience in MS Windows Servers, LAN/WAN Infrastructure of the organization
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Knowledge in hotel PMS system would be a definite advantage
  • Knowledge in VM environment would be a definite advantage
  • Well-organized, independent and customer-oriented
  • Good in both spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Fresh graduates will be considered
  • Must have working permit in Hong Kong
