Job Description

The Coordinator, Security Systems supports and assists with the maintenance, control and the operation of the Security Access and Key Control systems, databases, systems requests and staff lockers within the complex. The Coordinator, Security Systems will also assist in the development & implementation of effective systems and training of staff in the use of these systems.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist the Security Systems Manager to lead the Systems Team, to allocate responsibilities and to monitor the performance of Systems employees.
  • Conduct Training of Systems personnel in the required systems and related policies/procedures.
  • Coordinate the processing of key requests and key cutting; process changes to access levels for new users and position changes in the relevant systems; receipt, management and distribution of property keys; management of Security radio system and units; management and maintenance of property locks; management of Hotel access card and room safe systems.
  • Monitor customer service of employees and coach employees where necessary to enhance customer service quality.
  • Plan and carry out workplace administration, complete reports and functions associated with reports. Provide monthly audit reports to the Security Systems Manager as required on keys issued, key requests, keys in stock and other as required.
  • Review standards, recommend improvements where applicable and implement approved changes.
  • Coordinate emergency situations if the Security Systems Manager is not present.
  • Manage incidents in a discreet and confidential manner appropriate to the situation and to maintain a professional image.
  • Monitor all security procedures under the direction of Security Systems Manager.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures
  • Report accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to superiors and relevant departments
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as assigned by superiors from time to time

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

  • Seamless delivery of the access control systems and responsibilities
  • Concise administration and accountability of access control systems including Lockers and Radios
  • Accurate distribution of access levels to staff and contractors
  • Achievement of KPO’s and implementation of strategies as identified in the Business Plan
  • Department and Crown Macau policies and procedures are adhered to
  • Performance and succession criteria are met

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience

  • Minimum two-years Casino Security experience and/or experience in an access control related position
  • Demonstrated Knowledge of Key Control & Radio Systems
  • Experience with Photo ID applications favourable
  • Knowledge of computer system applications such as Word, Excel essential
  • Knowledge of Security systems an advantage
  • Experience in Customer Service and or Officer, Security duties
  • Demonstrated teamwork
  • Verbal and written English is essential; Cantonese or Mandarin is desirable
