Working across the world’s leading aesthetic brands—Botox Cosmetic, Juvéderm, Coolsculpting and more—this is a “once-in-a-lifetime” opportunity to be part of our in-house agency’s success right from the beginning. To do this right, we need to hire the best and brightest—and that’s why we want you! Reporting to a Creative Director, the copy-editing role holds a critical place in our creative department. You will ensure all go-to-market communications live up to the highest ideals for product and communication accuracy while always delivering consistency for the brand voice. You will support not only our brand marketing efforts but also personalized lifecycle communications. You have experience with marketing materials such as e-mail, social media, video scripts, and other digital communications. You will review templates in automation tools. You are comfortable with a high-volume asset review as necessary. And for all marketing materials, you will provide a precise level of oversight to ensure not only grammar, but rhythm and flow of words live up to our brand standards. Responsibilities: Reviewing marketing content produced by the creative studio such as: campaign videos, digital assets, social media, presentations, and various forms of promotional content Ensuring materials have accurate grammar, spelling, punctuation and aligns to the brand guidelines Develop and maintain an in-house copy style guide Providing feedback alongside markups that helps copywriters better their work in future rounds Collaborate cross functionally with brand and lifecycle managers Work in partnership with project managers through the delivery process Partner with compliance and review teams to incorporate ongoing requirements and feedback, while ensuring creative work adheres to brand standards Qualifications Qualifications: 7+ years experience proofreading and copy-editing experience preferably in an advertising agency or an editorial capacity; experience working in regulated industries is a plus Strong understanding of how brand voice and tone are applied across various marketing channels Expert command of all publishing styles Adept at reviewing files in various digital formats and environments (i.e., CMS, Adobe, CRM Platforms, Creative Staging Platforms, etc.) Extreme attention to detail and time management Ability to work independently and part of a team Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism; or equivalent #LI-ADL Significant Work Activities Continuous sitting for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hour day) Travel No Job Type Experienced Schedule Full-time Job Level Code IC About AbbVie AbbVie’s mission is to discover and deliver innovative medicines that solve serious health issues today and address the medical challenges of tomorrow.
