Allergan Aesthetics is looking for a Copywriter who will drive our voice for world’s leading aesthetics brands— Botox Cosmetic, Juvéderm, Coolsculpting and more. It’s an exciting time to join as not only will you be contributing to the success of these well-known brands, but you’ll be working with the teams building out our internal agency from the ground up. To build this right though, we need the best and brightest—and that’s why we want you! Reporting into a Senior Copywriter, you’ll work alongside designers, copywriters, and content creators. You have a mastery of brand voice, eloquently bridging narrative-driven storytelling, and benefits-driven calls to action. You collaborate easily with design partners to generate compelling campaigns that deliver results. You think conceptually but ground your ideas in strategy. You are as adept at writing a script as you are at crafting performance headlines and social posts. And most importantly, you understand that the consumer is at the heart of every piece of communication. Responsibilities: Copywriting for core brands, delivering a consistent voice and messaging that pays off on brand strategy Concept and collaborate with art directors, visual designers, and content creators to deliver high-performing creative—from concepting campaigns to conversion-oriented hardworking communications Deliver data-driving, insightful content for all channels—video/animation, email, landing pages, social media assets, digital advertising, and unique activation ideas Champion the brand voice and the value of persuasive copy Follow and iterate tone of voice guidelines, copy styles and messaging themes Partner with compliance and review teams to incorporate ongoing requirements and feedback, while ensuring creative work adheres to brand standards Qualifications Qualifications: 5+ years of creative copywriting experience at an agency or in-house environment; experience in beauty, retail, health, or CPG a plus Diverse portfolio showcasing exceptional copywriting and campaign strategy across a variety of media—video, social, digital, and web Expert knowledge of campaign development and advertising workflow processes A sound understanding of content, UX writing and digital fundamentals Excellent organization, presentation, and communication skills Extreme attention to detail and grammar Bachelors in English, Communications or Journalism; or the equivalent #LI-ADL Significant Work Activities Continuous sitting for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hour day) Travel No Job Type Experienced Schedule Full-time Job Level Code IC About AbbVie AbbVie’s mission is to discover and deliver innovative medicines that solve serious health issues today and address the medical challenges of tomorrow.
