WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
- Deliver and lead the commercial action plan for the Section Area; taking input from the Section Area team, working with the Store Sales Manager and the matrix partners to ensure the Section Area supports the achievement of the agreed goals for the country, maximizes sales and generates sustained long-term profitability
- Within the Section Area, secure a competent and high-performing team of inspired and empowered co-workers who recognize and understand their contribution. Identify and develop the many talents within the Section Area to secure succession planning within the Section Area, and the total store
- Lead and inspire your team to optimize the customers' shopping experience, securing customer satisfaction, and ensuring direct reports have the right number of co-workers in the right place at the right time to run their shops successfully and ensure their co-workers are ready and available to serve customers
- Know the local market potential; work with Section Area team and other functions to ensure that the solutions within the Section Area are locally relevant throughout the different sales channels
- Keep an active eye on the competition and take appropriate action when necessary
- Analyze the activity performance by understanding the impact of the actions on the financial results of the store: Identify successful activities, solutions and ideas, and use this information to improve the planning of future activities
- Secure the vitality and seasonality of the IKEA store
