Siemens is looking for a Corporate Account Manager for our Vertical Market Automotive. The Siemens Digital Industries – Automotive Vertical is searching for a Corporate Account Manager (CAM) to lead and purposefully expand our footprint for a key automotive enterprise client and their associated supply chain. As an executive sales professional the CAM will be viewed as a “best in class” Executive Account Manager who will lead the client into the next decade of success with the ever-expanding Digital Enterprise portfolio. The CAM represents the total Siemens portfolio to key customers in our strategic vertical market. In this role, the CAM will act as the CEO for their assigned account portfolio including setting the account strategy and ensuring effective execution in alignment with annual sales goals and objectives. This is a key role within the Siemens Automotive team and the CAM is responsible for coordinating business relationships. The CAM is responsible to establish, develop, and maintain a successful and mutually beneficial relationship at all levels, including the C-level of customers. In their work, the CAM coordinates with local and international sales teams and the respective business units. This individual will need to be accustomed to working with a CRM tool for account planning, opportunity tracking, financial tracking and forecasting, and overall account coordination. In this position: You will be responsible for the development and maximization of the global account penetration and profitable growth of the assigned account. The CAM represents Siemens in all sales/strategic activities and acts as interface between the customer and the Siemens organization (HQ, Divisions and Regions). You will also be responsible for profitable growth of the assigned key account for the represented Siemens organizations (Divisions, BUs, Segments). You will have the opportunity to act as interface between the key customer and the Siemens organization. As the advocate for the key customer’s interests, you will be expected to show a personal long-term dedication to the key customer (5-7 years). You will need to evaluate the customers market and analyze their business targets & strategy, issues, needs, processes, value chain and key business drivers and efficiently transfer this knowledge to the Siemens organizations and Regions. Focus on and pursue strategic business opportunities with the Key Customer by coordinating the activities of the involved Divisions and Regions. Represent the customer to the Siemens organizations and ensure a unified approach across Divisions and Regions towards the customer. Develop a unified 3-5-year key account strategy based on the strategic goals of the customer and market knowledge with the relevant Siemens organizations. Align the Siemens business planning of the respective Siemens organizations with the strategic goals of the customer. Required Knowledge, Skills, Education, and Experience: More than 7 years Account Management/Senior Sales and related management and business development experience, preferably in the relevant industry / market. Minimum 3 years’ experience in managing complex projects/customers. Team Leader: Able to manage and motivate people successfully, preferably with experience as a manager of a team in an international environment. Work with individuals from different cultures and backgrounds. Master’s or bachelor’s degree in engineering or business administration or other relevant discipline or other suitable education.
