Corporate Affairs Director Pet Nutrition Germany (m/f/d)

The Corporate Affairs Director is a pivotal person in ensuring we bring our unique purpose, making a better life for pets - both internally and externally – to life. As a key member of the German Pet Nutrition Leadership team, you’ll be crucial to setting the strategic direction for the function and leading a team to deliver our exciting corporate affairs activities for Pet Nutrition in Germany, including internal and external communication, public affairs, media relations, government relations, community engagement, and consumer care.

• You’ll need to be a Corporate Affairs professional experienced in building and implementing a forward-thinking strategy.
• You’ll be a networker at the core – building relationships, collaborating and influencing across the business, and with external partners.
• You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, global environment, and you’re ready to challenge the status quo.
• You’re an inspiring people-leader, ready to work with and challenge your team to bring the best out of them every-day.

Key Tasks:

• Bring our Unique Purpose to Life. We want to create a ‘Better World for Pets’, and we need you to help us bring that purpose to life through an engaging strategy, highlighting our meaningful initiatives.
• Build & Protect our Corporate Reputation.  Be open to partner internally and externally to engage stakeholders with our Corporate Objectives. 
• Inform & Inspire Associates.  Ensure our Associates remain highly engaged with the Mars Petcare vision and provide strategic counsel to our senior leaders on effective internal communications strategies. 
• Strengthen & Protect our Brands. Help drive the trust and public perception of our brands through constant and compelling media, stakeholder and Consumer Care programs.
