The Corporate Applications Engineer is a dynamic, exciting position where you can utilize your physical verification and design skills to enable the success of our customers and our business. You will assist customers by deploying Siemens EDA’s physical verification software, aiding them to solve complex verification and design challenges What will you do? Providing technical support to customers at customer locations and via telephone and other electronic means for the Calibre Physical Verification Assisting customers in deploying Siemens EDA’s software to solve design challenges (previously Mentor Graphics) processes and tracking tools Developing and delivering technical training on new features and product updates Developing technical content for Mentor's knowledgebase Communicating customers' technical requirements as well as customer issues to the product and sales teams. Working collaboratively with the customer and team members to ensure mutual success What are the requirements? MSc or BSc in Electrical Engineering is required Minimum 3 years of industry experience in IC Design Good understanding of custom/ASIC design flow and physical verification Working familiarity of Linux OS, and previous experience with scripting or Tcl/Perl/Java programming Familiar with Siemens EDA's (Mentor Graphics) Calibre tools is a must Knowledge of competitive EDA tools and products in the area of physical implementation, physical verification is highly desired.
