This exciting role offers opportunity to: Responsible for the management of Philippine numerous internal reporting and external compliance including with SEC, PSA, BSP and PEZA. Preparation and filing of consolidated statutory financial statements for two legal entities and supporting tax manager with preparation of the tax returns and any PEZA requirements. Responsibility of Corporate Ledger activity center financial management including monthly actual report, rolling forecast, profit plan, cash management and internal reporting for business requirement. Financial and management support to the Sales Division of the Company which includes but not limited to monthly book closing and analysis, and financial control and compliance. Provide guidance to operation business units with corporate policy and procedure implementation, and US GAAP reporting assistance as well as work on special projects, e.g., financing arrangements with treasury, restructurings, and acquisition/divestiture coordination and facility expansion and integration. Provide strong business partnering with operating business units to provide guidance on variety of tasks across functions such as: legal, tax, treasury, accounting, property, insurance and HR. Responsible for full GL responsibility for month-end and submission of comprehensive account reconciliations monthly including monthly financial statements, rolling forecasts and year-end closing for Corporate Philippines ledger. Perform accurate and timely internal and external reporting; Implement improvements to monthly closing procedures ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Direct profit plan, rolling forecast and cost control for corporate activity center – Tax, Finance and HR. Supporting process improvements and system implementations to ensure enhancements of reporting processes. Annual preparation of the financial statements and the filing of PEZA reports and statutory accounts. Coordinate year end external audits for US GAAP and PH GAAP. Perform cash requirement with Treasury Team. Assure internal control compliance to ensure protection of assets and accurate reporting of the financial position. Lead FAS109 reporting for two legal entities of EIPL and Cooper Branch. Lead corporate system implementation in Philippines. Conduct comprehensive balance sheet reviews Support Philippines finance team with the collation and preparation of the business unit’s Operating Results at monthly Operating Reviews with Asia Pacific Controllers. Development and achievement of finance department goals and objectives. Particularly provide guidance and mentor to team, champion financial policies, continuous process improvements whilst managing financial integrity and internal controls Build organizational capabilities by supporting the recruitment, training, and development of finance personnel to provide for succession planning, individual career development and growth opportunities Guides the application of corporate policies, procedures, GAAP, organization changes, and ensures their distribution to Philippine’s finance staff so that such knowledge is applied to the financial process Responsible for the implementation and deployment of actions to ensure an adequate environment of internal control. Provide compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and all applicable statutory requirements as they apply to areas of responsibility. Ensure compliance with USGAAP, Letters of Representation and local GAAP, statutory and fiscal requirements. Provides guidance and direction in the provision of advice and technical assistance to the Philippines operations on technical accounting issues, fiscal matters, and intercompany recharging of costs, in accordance with fiscally acceptable criteria and corporate objectives. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting/Finance, Must be a Certified Public Accountant 8-12 years of financial management experience with consolidation of statutory accounts expertise Knowledge of US and local GAAP and tax practice Minimum 8 years working experience in a Finance/Accounting position ideally with US MNC manufacturing or audit manager in a big 4 accounting firms with experience in Philippines. Having experience in multiple facet management based overseas to manage finance/accounting functions locally (e.g., GL, profit plan/rolling forecast preparation etc.) and exposure to finance shared services would be preferred. Good time management with ability to prioritize tasks in a matrix management environment and adaptable to varying cultures.
