Position Overview: Eaton has an exciting opportunity for an HR Generalist to join the Corporate Functions HR team. This role will provide the selected candidate with a great opportunity to build their HR skills and knowledge as a critical member of the HR team that supports our corporate global functions. The HR generalist will work closely with the Sr. HR Business partners, engage with HR Services and the corporate HR Center of Excellence’s to support our employees. In this role, you will provide direct HR support to multiple members of the Corporate HR Leadership team and engage with leaders and employees across the Eaton’s global organization. You will be responsible for facilitating and directing employee engagement projects and activities within the Corporate Human Resources Team and Eaton’s Beachwood Office. Essential Functions: Support the HR Business Partners in building functional talent capability, utilize data to identify, assess and address critical functional talent needs. Provide direct staffing support by working closely with our talent acquisition team. Drive functional inclusion and diversity initiatives to build a diverse and inclusive culture. Conduct various workforce analysis to understand employee engagement, turnover and other factors impacting our workforce. Manage multiple projects including new hire orientation, employee handbook, site employee engagement events, data integrity audits and HRMS reporting requests. Assist in the management and maintenance of Eaton's corporate non-exempt time tracking and overtime payroll process for all non-exempt employees, interns, and co-ops in the United States. Manage the deployment and continuous improvement of HR functional events and meetings, including the monthly HR Deployment Calls and other learning events. Support and facilitate HR support items for Eaton's corporate functions, including recruitment support (from posting to onboarding), benefits escalations, and employee relations items as needed. Support and manage Eaton's file retention and management policy, including physical and electronic files both on- and off-site. Own the deployment and tracking of employee relations / labor relations communications for each state. Provide administrative and project support to HR Leadership Team members as needed. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from accredited institution OR minimum of two (2) years of Human Resources experience Minimum of two (2) years of professional work experience in an office environment. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications: Experience leading training and facilitation for broad audiences. Experience working in a professional office environment and interacting with senior business leaders. Knowledge of HR systems, reporting and data analytics. Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (e.g. Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint). Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal at all levels of the organization. Ability to effectively interface and work with a wide variety of people and virtual/remote teams. Strong team-oriented interpersonal skills. Demonstrate strong ethics and values; be widely trusted; direct and truthful, with the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and gain confidence.
