Eaton is currently seeking a Corporate HR Manager to join our team. This position is based at our Beachwood, OH location. Position Overview: Reporting to the Senior HR Manager, the HR Business Partner (Manager) has responsibility for providing strategic and tactical HR leadership and support to the Centers of Excellence within the global Information Technology function. The individual will serve as the HR Business Partner for multiple groups within IT and will provide strategic HR leadership for the groups, globally. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: organizational design, change management, workforce planning, employee & manager coaching, performance management, succession planning & ongoing talent reviews, compensation, assessment & selection, manager on-boarding, and reporting and analytics. In this function you will: Develop and execute global organization and talent management strategies for respective CoE's, in consultation with Senior HR Manager and partnership with local HR, including organizational assessment and design, capability building, talent reviews, competitive compensation programs and change management initiatives Champion organization change to facilitate alignment of human capital plans to the IT strategic plan Provide coaching to the COE leadership teams and their staffs; act as a role model and sponsor for the Eaton Mission, Leadership Attributes, Aspirational Goals and Doing Business Right Build organizational capability to meet the current and future needs of the business; utilize data including Organizational Capability Assessment (OCA) to assess and address functional talent development needs, including succession planning & ongoing talent reviews, talent acquisition, organization design, diversity, and retention; support Senior HR Manager with leadership development program nominations Support executive and non-executive level Employee Relations activities by working with management to resolve conflict and facilitate achievement of established business objectives Provide support of HR subject matter needs through liaison responsibilities with corporate HR subject matter experts based in the regions (e.g., Talent Acquisition, Assessment & Selection, Executive and Non-Executive Compensation, etc.) Leverage strategic workforce planning to ensure the right skill mix and geographic location for respective CoEs Collaborate with HR function/HR COEs on solutions designed for broader / enterprise Eaton application Drive standard HR deployments and annual requirements through client group(s) including: executive compensation planning (3 cycles), merit planning, APEX cycles (Annual Performance and Development Planning), Employee Survey/Continuous Listening administration and action planning, etc Facilitate and support new HR program deployments through client group(s), such as: I&D, HR Services, Flex Work Solutions, etc Why work at Eaton? Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required from an accredited university. Minimum 7 years of experience in human resources Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver’s license Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future Preferred qualifications: Experience partnering with leadership to create and drive strategic HR and key functional organization initiatives Experience leading training and facilitation Experience coaching and advising leaders Leadership experience in Organization Development, including Organizational Change Management, Compensation, Talent Assessment, and Employment Law coupled with practical savvy for coaching management on these topics and applying the knowledge to training and deployment Implement / leverage processes, review metrics and measure on-going review of effectiveness for continuous improvement Experience in a matrix organization Experience with organization assessment and design and developing / executing talent strategy preferred M.B.A. or M.S. degree in human resources Collaborative and team-work focused style a must We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
