Summary:
The VATI Advisor for Growth Markets supports acquisitions beyond PMI for Greater China, Japan, Latin America and ASIAM (ANZ, South Africa, India, ASEAN and the Middle East). The VATI Advisor engages in deals prior to
the end of PMI during the Transition Workshop (Integration Squad 4) which focuses on ways to sustain momentum beyond PMI. The VATI Deal Lead facilitates this workshop along with the VATI Advisor to identify and prioritize residual talent integration needs that will have the most impact on engagement.
The VATI Advisor ensures the customized Beyond PMI Change Journey is executed through regular checkpoints with key stakeholders (i.e. Business Sponsor and/or Business Integration Lead, Client Account HR Lead, and acquired resources). During those checkpoints, the VATI Advisor will:
• Review progress on talent integration activities
• Provide coaching & education to facilitate execution of the Change Journey
• Draw upon deal experience and/or change management expertise to recommend solutions and provide guidance to mitigate talent challenges and foster a positive employee experience
The ultimate goal of the VATI Advisory role is to ensure deals retain a strong focus on integrating acquired talent
beyond PMI so individuals:
- feel a sense of belonging faster
- are productive quicker (trained and enabled on new tools and processes)
- are more engaged (as measured by regular pulse surveys)
- and ultimately retained
As a critical member of the Beyond PMI team, the VATI Advisor is also responsible for lookbacks within Growth Markets which includes preparing talent summaries for HR V&A leadership and addressing any follow up talent actions identified by CapCo. Having ownership for lookbacks enables the VATI Advisor to look at deals more holistically to identify trends, assess lessons learned and improve integration dynamics through best-in-class interventions.
In addition to supporting deals, the VATI Advisor is expected to contribute to the beyond PMI HR V&A community by collaborating with VATI Advisors in the other markets, sharing approaches and contributing new tools/assets to the central VATI Advisory Offering repository (continuous improvement).
