To find out more about us check: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=baa_aiJ4L7E As the Payroll Supervisor, you will provide finance support to the Payroll function within Eaton EMEA as part of the Corporate Finance team by supervising the payroll team and ensuring the payrolls are processed timely and accurately for the countries in scope. The Supervisor provides inputs and coordinates execution with internal (Eaton) stakeholders and external (third party) provider. These include, among others, supporting the monthly payroll process, supporting the EMEA Payroll program whilst maintaining customer satisfaction and quality standards aligned with company goals, leading standardisation of the payroll process and identifying potential process improvements. This position in based in our Budapest office, but working from home will be allowed (2-3 days a week). Your main responsibilities: Support monthly payroll process: Review of the exceptions report provided by the external supplier Reasonableness check of the payroll runs Confirmation of the final payroll run with the local plant controllers Coordination of the payment of all payroll runs Coordinate the booking of the monthly payroll entries with GFSS team Review the monthly reconciliations and resolve any anomalies Support ad hoc issue resolution as appropriate Coordinate data uploads & payments to external payroll service providers Support ongoing/annual legal changes which impact payroll calculation Coordinate all year-end reporting requirements Process historical payroll data queries Coordinate local country Tax & Security reporting & funding Payroll Program: Support the standardization of the payroll process within the countries already in scope Support the implementation of the new model into the future countries in scope Prepare the internal annual allocation model and monitor monthly billings Prepare country business case calculations Assist with preparation of annual profit plan for EMEA payroll function Manage historical payroll dataSupport monthly payroll process Qualifications Your essential skills we are looking for: Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) from an accredited institution or equivalent professional degree Strong English language capabilities is essential, additional language skills would be advantageous Microsoft Office (particularly Excel, Outlook) Previous experience of statutory payroll accounting & compliance would be significant advantage Excellent Communication (Written and Verbal) and interpersonal skills Attention to detail, Data driven mindset Ability to build and maintain positive customer relationships Drive for results (achieving key on time delievery metrics) and collaborative style Demonstrated ability to take ownership of an assignment and customer satisfaction What we offer to you: Competitive compensation and benefits package Permanent contract in a fast-growing global company Challenging projects in dynamic collaborative team Flexible working solutions #LI-MM2 What you will get from us Eaton’s mission is to improve the quality of life and the environment through the use of power management technologies and services.
