1.Have deep understanding of fundamental materials research: ferroelectric / magnetic / metals / insulators/ oxides materials for emerging - exploratory logic / memory applications; materials for ultra low resistance wires and vias. Materials for selectors and non-volatile memories.

2. Research and development on hardware for artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), in-memory computing, and neuromorphic computing.

3. Have deep understanding of AI/ML algorithms, circuit design, and performance analysis of systems.

4. Be able to use and develop modeling tools at various levels of abstraction from application to architecture to compact device models.

5. Understanding of Tensorflow, Caffe2, GEM5, place-and-route tools, PPA analysis, SPICE/VerilogA models. Experience with logic and memory devices a plus. (Prior tape out experience a plus)
