The opportunity:

We have an opportunity for an Initiatives and Implementation Manager to join our Corporate Solutions team in Partnership Insurance . This is a great role for someone who either has a legal or a strong product management background and enjoys delivering on initiatives that make a difference. There will be a need to focus on the management of policy wordings, business rules and endorsements, as well as managing and delivering key initiatives.

As the Implementation Manager, you’ll drive the delivery of Best Doctors into Corporate Solutions to develop this key distribution channel. You’ll be a strong relationship builder and will be able to work with a wide range of internal stakeholders such as Pricing, Marketing, Product, Legal, Claims and Underwriting teams.

About the role:

  • Leading the development and document changes to policy wordings and endorsements

  • Understand how products and initiatives meet customer needs and provide business value/return and leads the communication of this both internally and externally

  • Identify and act on opportunities to invest in the product portfolio to drive and optimise performance

  • Lead the successful delivery of Corporate Solutions initiatives/projects which enable the full intended business benefit

  • Work closely with Corporate Solutions Manager and BDM’s to build and foster key relationships with AIA Corporate and Multinational partnerships and key IFA stakeholders in order to support and extend the growth in these areas

  • Support relevant discussions with Third-Party Administration providers and representatives of Direct Schemes

  • Work closely with business networks in the market at a senior level to positively represent AIA and ensure that all opportunities are maximised for the Corporate Solutions Channel

  • Work closely with Regional Managers (RMs), and the Key Adviser Group Manager to ensure all teams are highly motivated and possess the skills and attributes required to support and achieve the Corporate Solutions strategic deliverables

  • Support continuous improvement of project methodologies and processes, including the appropriate use Project Management Lifecycle and the Organisational Change framework

About you:

  • You’ll have either a legal background or a strong product management background

  • Creator of strong relationships

  • A good understanding of project management work in today’s dynamic business environment covering project dimensions

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Distribution operations, processes, and business risks

  • Ability to use initiative, analytical skills, commercial acumen, and good judgment in problem solving and decision making.

  • Ability to consider the wider implications of decisions on the business

  • Ability to recognise opportunities for change, think outside the box and identify ideas and solutions for continuous improvement

  • Proven ability to build effective working relationships with stakeholders

  • Experience coaching and mentoring others around you
