Job Description

Responsibilities: The Corporate Strategy Consultant will support CHERVON’s strategy development and improvement projects from strategic to operational level. The candidate will work on multiple initiatives and projects simultaneously with direct visibility to the leadership team and interact with interdisciplinary teams from CHERVON’s global network. The Corporate Strategy team works in a management consulting fashion and acts as a partner to support individual business units and departments in their improvement efforts. The candidate will join a multi-cultural and multi-lingual team headed by a former management consultant. Our ideal candidate is open-minded and a self-starter with an exceptional ability to connect with the business and who brings fresh and disruptive thinking. You will be kept on your toes and no day will be like any other.


The Corporate Strategy Consultant will:

  • Support in developing CHERVON’s vision and strategic direction, drawing input from appropriate sources outside and within the business
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives and projects, beginning from scope definition through execution to fundamentally and continuously improve the business
  • Develop solutions along the supply chain to ensure operational excellence and drive bottom line improvements
  • Quantify business value of strategic initiatives and programs and monitor execution across the company to ensure goals are achieved
  • Support strategic decision-making of senior management across a variety of strategic initiatives and projects
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and presentations that track and analyse our industry
  • Lead or contribute to special / ad-hoc projects and other assigned tasks

Top candidates will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in business engineering, supply chain management and finance, or a related field from an accredited college / university, Master’s degree strongly preferred
  • A minimum of one year of experience in improving supply chain and operations
  • Thinking critically and outside the box
  • Empathy and ability to summarise abstract ideas clearly
  • Excellent in analytical thinking, analysis and problem solving
  • Ability to learn and draw on new analytical techniques to develop creative approaches
  • "Can-do" attitude, highly self-motivated, efficient and result-oriented team player
  • Process-oriented and basic project management skills
  • Previous internships in relevant industries (if possible, outside China experience)
  • Strong command of both spoken and written Chinese Mandarin and English (mandatory)
  • Extensive knowledge in using MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
