Job Description

The Corporate Strategy Office is a fun environment, set amidst the most exciting technology trends and largest strategic decisions at Intel. The group is led by Saf Yeboah (SVP/CSO) and employs a wide variety of business and technical individuals across the globe. Our CSO Finance team members are based primarily in the Western US, Israel, and Costa Rica. The CSO organization includes IDI Incubation, Intel Capital (ICAP) Equity investments, Mergers- Acquisitions, Strategic Alliances, Corporate Strategy Development, Intel Roadmaps, Networking Standards, and the CSO CTO office.

The CSO Central Finance Manager will be responsible for managing 3 solid and 3 dotted-line employees, made up of FPnA and PnL analysts across the Western hemisphere. In your first year in CSO, you will modernize our FPnA/PnL processes and systems to drive enhanced business intelligence, automation, and resources for our Finance/Operations teams. You will be responsible for driving Financial Planning and Analysis, driving the organization toward high-return investments and disciplined financial management. Your team will lead all Plan/POR/Close cycles for CSO, with an emphasis on spending and HC management. You will partner closely with the IDI Controller to manage the CSO Incubation PnL and coach your analysts on how to drive new business development/biz plans within IDI. Key business partners for this role include Saf Yeboah (SVP/CSO), CSO Finance Controllers, CSO Staff, and the CR SSC management.

This role is ideal for people interested in people management, culture champions, process management, and well-networked collaborators. This is a unique opportunity for a first-time manager to step into a global management position and develop a team of analysts. You will be a key member of our finance team and have opportunities to cross-train in the different CSO domains.

The ideal candidate should demonstrate the skills to develop strong partnerships while influencing at an executive level in a collaborative global environment, Detail-Oriented, Strong Communication, Interpersonal and Organization Skills. Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum qualifications:

  • An undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.

  • 7+ years of senior level finance or accounting experience.

  • Experience mentoring others and leading community building/citizenship activities.

  • Experience managing a process.


Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with FPnA or PnL management.

  • Experience with Power BI or analytics tools.

  • Knowledge and passion for Driving process improvements, Automation, standardization, and business process management (BPM).

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
