    About the Job
    Texas Instruments is looking for an energetic communications specialist, who enjoys helping others to succeed by providing team members and employees with support in a positive and professional environment. This corporate and employee communicator will be responsible for managing employee communications for TI China, advance TI’s brand through strengthening innovation and communicating TI is a great place to work in China. This position will also serve as Shanghai site communicator and Community Involvement Team leader.

      The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in internal or organizational communications and be able to recommend communications strategies for influencing and managing change, as well as educating employees on company and organizational strategy.

      This person will be a strategic partner to both business colleagues and human resources business partners, advising on ways to engage employees through a variety of communications tactics. It is also this person’s responsibility to provide executive communications coaching to business leaders. This includes key message development and implementing creative tactics to ensure those messages are broadly understood. The individual performing in this role will also be as a member of TI’s Employee Communications Forum and will have opportunities to work across organizations on various cross-company employee communications efforts.

      Responsibilities include:
    • Partnering with leaders and HR to drive communications activities that support employee engagement and ensure employees understand the priorities and focus of the business and company
    • Developing and implementing various employee communications campaigns, as well as maintaining ongoing employee communication tactics, such as employee websites and leader communications (employee emails, town hall meetings, videos, articles for TI’s internal news portal, management round tables and more)
    • Planning and executing communications plans to support cross-organization collaboration
  • Serving as a leader of Shanghai Community Involvement Team to drive employee volunteerism in TI's citizenship programs.
  • Tracking and analyzing results

    Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, or English
  • 5 years’ experience

  • Business acumen and judgment
  • Solid project management and team-leading skills and experience
  • Ability to take the initiative and drive for results

  • Demonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationships

  • Experience communicating about technology is a plus
