Job Description

Duty:

• Provide full range of legal support to all stakeholders, both internal and external
• Assist and facilitate Company’s company secretarial matters

Responsibilities:

• To undertake and conduct researches on legal issues
• To review, compose and formulate simple agreements and letters
• To support non-contentious, contentious and/or litigious legal matters
• To shoulder and manage Company’s legally related documentation filing and archive systems
• To liaise with all external and internal parties including but not limited to lawyers, company secretary, regulatory bodies and authorities
• To assist the Head of Department to promulgate and exercise corporate governance and awareness to all staff in the Company
• To perform other assigned duties and tasks, when required

Qualification:

• LLB or Bachelor degree in Corporate Governance or HD/AD in Legal Studies or CILEx or HKICS/ICSA (now CGI) Member
• Minimum 2 years of job-related experience required
• Previous experience in company secretarial and litigious legal matters preferred but not a must

Competencies:

• Analytical and problems solving skills
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
• Ability to work under pressure
• Confident communicator, persuasive and commercially astute
• Ability to make suggestions and recommendations using own initiative
• Immediate availability is highly preferred
