We are looking for a Cost Accountant in Eaton’s electrical business, based in Tanauan, Batangas. This exciting role is responsible for conducting standard cost calculation, cost control and analysis. It is also responsible for conducting physical inventory management such as annual PI, cycle count, and E&O calculation. Part of the tasks includes reviewing plant cost-out projects and supporting the function team on project deployment. It also focuses on the analysis of plant cost run rate such as absorption, MUV, PPV, and POV to support the business decision. Your essential responsibilities: Prepare annual Profit Plan, calculate standard labour & overhead rate, and release standard cost. Complete cost accounting for month-end closing Evaluate inventory and E&O amount, monitor scrap and other CONC cost Analyze PPV, POV, absorption, and MFG rate to support the business decision Conduct cost-out project verification and reporting Maintain standard cost and cost element allocation rate Review cost accounting process and SOP to improve the work efficiency Establish cross-function communication on problem-solving Qualifications If you have/are: Bachelor's degree in Accountancy Certified Public Accountant Supervisory experience 5 years of working experience in costing Flexible to work as an Individual Contributor Familiar with SAP, Oracle finance operation A strong foundation of accounting principles & theories Strong problem-solving skills Yes!
