Eaton’s Electrical Critical Power and Digital Infrastructure Division is currently seeking a Cost Out Project Leader to join our team. This position is based at our Raleigh, NC facility or can be based remotely. All candidates must currently reside within the United States and must work out of a United States remote location. The Cost Out Project Leader is an integral member of the Critical Power and Digital Infrastructure (CPDI) Supply Chain Team, with responsibilities to manage the division cost out program, including idea generation, business case development, cross-functional resource alignment, project implementation tracking and financial reporting. In this function you will: Manage division cost out project tracking and reporting to prioritize savings opportunities and forecast and address gaps to plan as required. Manage the cost out ideation process. Work with local sourcing and functional leaders in Global Procurement, Logistics, VA/VE, OpEx and Finance to generate cost out project ideas and load into the Global Procurement SharePoint. Conduct cost savings idea generation events by coordinating resources and ensuring sufficient detail is recorded to enable subsequent business case development. Work with Program Management Office to assign project leaders and provide ongoing feedback on cost out results vs. project performance. Coordinate with Project leaders to ensure detailed implementation plans are put in place. Follow up to ensure milestones are being completed to project timelines. Document cost out performance by assuring project databases and financial metrics align. Specifically, assure the Global Procurement Sharepoint and Cost Out Data Base are updated and aligned to meet objectives. Coordinate with Finance to insure alignment with Encore. Communicate cost out activities and results and conduct regular reviews with business stakeholders to achieve objectives. Leverage EBS Procurement Excellence and Cost Out tools. Build Organizational capability by conducting training as required. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. Minimum of five (5) years experience in supply chain, operations excellence and/or project management. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future. No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. This position can be based at our location in Raleigh, NC or can be based remotely. All candidates must currently reside within the United States and must work out of a United States remote location. Preferred Qualifications: Working knowledge of Global Procurement SharePoint (GPS), Eaton Spend Management Tools, Cost Out Database and Encore. PMI Certification. Strong analytical/problem solving skills. Ability to lead and work cross functionally. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including excel. Prior Program / Project Management skills.
