2: Animation Analysis of Anticipation (before select)
Define the potential target cost. Quantify the functional blocks and concepts and highlight the important parameters of the cost analysis. Assist in the decision for orienting the objective cost in design. Estimate cost of ? star product ?. Apply the rules of analogy and "best practice" targeted on the perimeter.
3: Consolidate Product Cost in PMP
Costing the different architectures products and processes
Determine the consolidated " star product" target cost, be based on industrialization specialists
Identify assumptions and significant parameters, provide target objective to the purchasing department (parts and sub assembly), Identify gaps for improvement and optimization. Finally constitute the cost deliverables (using template, tracking graph) for the stage gates.
4: Post Sell & PEP Challenges
Post sell follow up. Follow up star product reference, periodically collect current manufacturing data. Compare current vision with project forecast. Analyze variances (currency, quantity, RMi, Labor efficiency, purchasing cost ...). Consolidated vision & share with plant & lines of business.
