Responsibilities

• Providing legal advice and recommendation on a broad range of in-house legal matters, including but not limited to operational, commercial, regulatory, competition, employment and contentious matters
• Advising the management on legal risks and compliance issues
• Advising the management regularly on new regulatory requirements and developments
• Providing training and legal support to protect the commercial as well as reputational interests of the company and to ensure that risks are properly managed
• Assisting team member in the handling of litigation, arbitration and other contentious matters
• Working with external counsel, company secretary, paralegal and professional advisers
• Performing such other duties to be assigned by supervisor

Requirements

• LLB or above (from Hong Kong or other common law jurisdictions)
• 3 years post qualification experience gained in reputable law firms or MNC
• Preferably with in-house experience. Worked for aviation or travel industry an advantage.
• Possess strong communication and analytical skills
• A proactive team player, with can-do attitude and able to work independently under high pressure and tight timeframe
• Exceptional organizational skills, attention to details, mature attitude and ability of multi-tasking
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Ability to speak in Putonghua will be an advantage
