We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Country Business Unit Finance Manager to join our Energy Automation business unit based in Melbourne. The Country Business Unit Finance Manager plays a hands-on role in enabling the business unit to achieve its objectives and will provide sound financial and commercial advice to the Business Unit Head and Senior Leadership team. In this role you will act as a trusted finance partner of the local business unit lead with joint responsibility for local profit and loss of the business in Australia and New Zealand. You will be responsible for the financial management, accuracy and integrity of financial records and reports including an effective Risk Management and Internal Control System. Serve as a Role Model for the finance community and beyond by living and promoting ownership culture and entrepreneurship, drive digitalization in Finance, productivity, continuous process improvements as well as cash conversion, and be responsible for consistent financial planning, reporting and controlling of key data of all relevant business and support processes. In addition, you will provide financial assessments and relevant information to local and global partners, ensuring compliant and, where possible standardized, contract management standards in all relevant business cases (supplier, customer, service providers), manage end-to-end Business Administration operations and lead a team of Business Administration professionals, and closely collaborate with other business areas to leverage synergies. It is likely that the successful candidate will have a proven experience in production controlling or product costing, regional sales, planning, controlling and accounting, with experience in a management position holding leadership responsibilities. A solid understanding of IFRS Accounting, calculation methods and SAP ERP systems, and extensive experience in Commercial Project Management and Risk Management. Experience in digital applications and data analytics (i.e. SAC, Qlik Sense, Tableau, HANA, etc.), advanced contracts management knowledge and negotiation skills, and a strong intercultural sensitivity and ability to work with diverse international teams is crucial, as is a Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Law or related field. You will display strong capabilities for strategic thinking, analytics, indirect leadership, motivation and end to end business processes (i.e. value flow models), and be able to demonstrate the ability to distil complex issues into succinct and easily understood language that conveys key messages successfully at all levels.
