Typical Accountabilities

• Lead Finance partnership with the business to achieve the strategic and operational goals of the business unit or project

• Provide advice, guidance and support to business leaders, enabling and influencing decision-making to achieve optimal performance

• Manage the Regional / Functional / Project P&L – accountable jointly with the head of the business unit / project

• Implement the organisation’s finance policies and procedures within the business unit/project

• Manage the flows of accurate and timely financial information between business unit/project and central finance functions

• Develop the professional capability of the finance team and the financial understanding of non-finance managers

Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Essential Desirable

• MBA or other Finance/Business qualification

• Extensive work experience in Finance Function

• Qualified specialist finance professional

• Significant post-qualification experience

• Experience of working across a global organisation

• In-depth understanding of regulatory/statutory requirements and governance principles/SOX

• Experience of working with senior Management

• Varied range of experiences in specialist Finance with specific expertise in related specialist area

• Team leadership / management experience

• Project Management • Specialist financial qualification to support general financial qualifications
