Job Description

We are searching for an experienced and dedicated Country Manager to drive our growth in China and APAC markets.  This role will play a critical role in Omio’s success, as the ultimate objective is to expand our business in China and APAC  in a scalable way, ensuring a great experience for our customers and enabling our business growth.

The role is based in our Beijing Office and will report to our Chief Marketing Officer.

Your role

  • Own, build, lead and execute Omio demands growth strategy for all products across China and APAC markets

  • Partner with teams at our offices, including in Berlin and Prague to build and scale our product & customer strategy for these markets

  • Build and nurture high value and strategic partnerships with travel partners across APAC

  • Lead organic content strategy to drive sustainable growth in the markets, such as SEM/SEO, Display, SoMe, content marketing, etc. 

  • Collaborate with the Berlin team to define and execute marketing campaigns to drive stellar user growth

  • Define and achieve ambitious performance targets

  • Ensure the team that delivers the highest level of customer experience

Qualifications

 

What you bring to the table

  • 5+ years of experience in a leading Commercial/Marketing role within the tech, investment banking or management consulting or any combination of high-level equivalent experience. Tech travel industry and passion for travel are a plus

  • Experience of B2C products in e-commerce environment and APAC markets is essential

  • You have already delivered success through leading cross-functional teams and built a fast-growth business in a scalable way

  • You have previous experience structuring large commercial deals and know how to build sustainable strategic partnerships 

  • You have strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, you are data-driven, result-oriented, radically customer-centric, and persistent and reliable in execution

  • You possess excellent people and communication skills, tolerance for ambiguity, and the enthusiasm to contribute to building a great company

  • Fluent in English. Other languages are a plus
