Find out more about the Digital world of Siemens here: www.siemens.com/careers/digitalminds As part of a Country or Vertical Software Sales organization, advocate and drive the development of allocated portfolio domains through the identification of a clear target market and go-to-market strategy, and the execution of campaign centered strategies to leverage and maximize software opportunities. Understand the market positions for the allocated portfolio domains for the Country including what problems we are solving, the solutions we are providing, and the business value delivered to the customer, which requires adaption of the sales messaging and TIPS for each campaign, appreciating that the messaging will differ between industry. Act as trusted advisor to Country Sales, PreSales teams providing guidance on the planning, execution, and measurement of portfolio development activities. Define and execute a Country portfolio execution plan, which determines where to focus, including identification of challenges and the activities to execute in order to overcome Act as key point of contact for Country Sales and Channel teams for campaign knowledge and portfolio domain expertise. Establish and track measurable goals for monitoring portfolio growth and market share against each campaign and portfolio in Country. Capture, document and provide feedback to Zone PFDs on content and lessons learnt. Works under self-management on assignments/pursuits and will determine solutions, methods and procedures. Provides guidance and mentoring within Country / Vertical to others on portfolio development approaches in specific portfolio domains. Works on portfolio domains including campaigns of basic scope. The Country Portfolio Development Executive II position reports through the Siemens DI SW Americas Simcenter Portfolio Zone organization and will be responsible to help drive the simulation business in the Industrial Machinery and Energy & Utilities industries. The Portfolio Developer will be responsible to coordinate activity and work with various resources in the company including Account Orchestrators, Account Development staff, CAE Domain Specialists, Channel Partners and others. This position requires an understanding and proven experience in leveraging the CAE subscription business model to achieve new business growth for the overall simulation portfolio. In achieving revenue goals, the successful Portfolio Developer will leverage existing campaigns to drive business in new accounts/groups and help drive the revenue stream across all sales channels. The Portfolio Developer will be a self-starter, operate with a "sales/business" mindset and have a demonstrated ability to work in a teaming environment with pre-sales, customer support, marketing & other PFD's to help meet objectives. Location: flexible (including a home office); however, person must be currently located in the continental USA. Minimum Requirements: • At least 5+ years current experience in software sales, software business development, or software pre-sales, with preference for experience in the engineering simulation software space, as well as experience in the Energy/Utilities and Industrial Machinery markets. • Must currently reside in the continental USA, preferably Detroit or Houston • Strong history of goal/quota attainment over career • Bachelor’s degree. • Familiarity in the use of desktop solutions such as Microsoft Office, Project, PowerPoint and other job-related software packages • Excellent public speaking skills complemented by exceptional written and oral skills as well as strong organizational abilities • Proven ability to independently formulate, understand and articulate customer needs and solution strategies • Candidate must be able to travel ~40% (when corporate COVID travel policy allows) Work Location: Detroit or Houston. Remote worker may be considered The total compensation salary range for this position (base + variable pay) is $134,700 to $269,400.
